our first babies and the Parents.

Here are the proud parents, and can you tell me what they are? I'm a rookie at this so trying to learn as much as possible.



Mom is getting ready to lay more eggs tonight would be my guess, but for now a nap with dad

Here is a picture of the first born and it happened yesterday at the start of the Indy 500 race, and I mean a the drop of the green.



And today at 4:55pm the second one emerged. This one I have on video from start to finish. Total time from start to finish was 51 minutes. First 22 minutes were pretty much like the first picture and then duck back in and come back out to this point. Once the head came all the way out we rested for a bit longer. Then it went real fast first half way a bit of rest and then out and laps around the egg. left the newbie in the incubator for 2 hours or so and now in the bin with her/his clutch mate and both are resting well.





Now I need a nap I got tired watch all of this.

Very nice. I don't know what the parents are but they are very pretty.

The Parents are just Normals, so unless they are het for something they will just produce more Normal babies.

That is why I asked. So I would know or at least get info so I can learn. This is all very new to me. These started out as kid pets and something they wanted to have so I got them. Now they are older and have other intrest I have now turned my man cave into and roach, gecko and racing room all in one.

Yes I'm now breeding my own roaches for feeders and the little guys or gals well just a bonus I guess. Been good fun learning this stuff.

He means you should have learned everything to do with breeding and Gecko genetics before you let the Geckos breed. It's extremely irresponsible to just let an animal have babies without knowing risks, etc. Or knowing whether you'll have homes lined up for babies. Just because they're Geckos doesn't mean it's no different than letting a Cat or a Dog have litter after litter without knowing anything about it.
