Our Little Peep Peep

This is our little home grown chick. first chick hatched on the new farm. she didn't have a very good start. We had a broody hen so we decided to have her incubate some eggs. she was the only one to hatch and moma didn't know how to take care of her so she pecked her to near death. I went to check on her a few hours after she had hatched and found her on deaths door. But I pulled her out of the coop and we gave her lots of TLC. It really helped to have worked with many bird species over the last 10 years and know what to do. She has been doing good ever sence. Gaining about 30 grams this past week.

Peep, peep peep her horn went peep peep peep....
