Our new gecko Steve!

My wife just added a new addition to our zoo! Steve the Leo gecko was brought home last evening. She bought a 10 gal desert tank setup with of course some stuff not needed!! urgh! I am out of town currently, and with the help from this awesome forum, I have been walking her through the proper stuff needed to keep Steve a happy gecko She is going back to the pet store today to pick a UTH, red bulb, etc. When I get home tomorrow I am going to have to check the temps, and make a humid hide. I can't wait to get home and meet our newest little guy!!:main_thumbsup:

Welcome to the forums! Steve is a cute little guy. I recommend switching his substrate from reptile carpet to paper towels. They're much easier to keep clean.

Thanks Bongo!! So much to learn I told my wife to put in a piece of paper towel in for a pooping area, but I am assuming until we see were he likes to go it's going to get messy! My wife said I am driving her crazy with my constant texting on how to setup his home!!
