out of food

so how long can 2 geckos go without food...

i am currently waiting on some mealworms in the mail...

Its been 2 days....and i feel so bad..

am i pushing it...

will they die??? I feel like a bad person who can't even take care of his animals...

hopefully they will come tomorrow.. Any input?

a fat gecko can go longer with out food than a skinny one, they store fat in their tails for this reason. 2 days shouldn't kill a healthy gecko.

Don't worry. Most of my adults will not be eating till Jan.

No food

A healthy Gecko can go a long while without food.

The fatter the tail the longer that the Gecko can go without eating.

Sometimes in the real world it is feast or famine.

So your Geckos should be ok for at least a week or two.

They may be hungy but, I think that the way that a Gecko feels hunger is different than you or I.

Additionally, it is probably a good idea to every now and then to skip a day or two to maintain the feeding response of your Gecko.
