Ovulating 2nd season?

Ok I am trying to figure out when I might start to see ovulations for this next season? I have 3 girls going into a 2nd season. They began laying last year mid-March, and were done end of July. I was thinking they could start earlier this year as they are more mature? I know the season varies wildly as I have seen some people post they have girls that start laying Nov./Dec. and some not until early summer?

Do any of you notice a pattern as to how many months they rest? For example if they finish in July, do they start laying the next season earlier then if they finished in September?

I don't like to rush my girls. If yours just finished laying in July I'd give them until next year. I tend to turn my lights down to an 8 hour cycle at this time of year and in January/February bump it up to 12 hours, increase the temps on their racks a degree or two and feed them a bit more. Most of my girls usually start ovulating within 2-6 weeks of those changes but some wait until later in the season no matter what I do!.

Ok, I don't have any lights on the tanks, just the undertank heaters. Temps are set at 91 right now. They are all in glass tanks, so the get natural sunlight from windows in the house. They have regained any weight lost from breeding and then some! I don't want to decrease temps really as the ambient temp in the house will drop to about 65 over winter. Should I up the temps(UTH) to 93 or so maybe around February/March?
