How long do non breeding females ovulate for? I have a female that has two white oval shapes and has had them for two months and her tail has been getting skinnier... She won't eat, and she has been staying the same weight.... for the most part, one day I weighed her and she was 30 then reweighed her and was back at 45 and has stayed there.... So is this ovulation?

Yeah, you can see the pink spot and the white spot. The white spot is an egg, for sure, but a small one. She could (and probably will) just absorb it. If not, she'll lay it in a couple weeks or so and it will be infertile--so just toss it.

Its important to make sure she's got access to calcium all the time, though. Even if she won't eat, she'll probably lick at that

You should probably try to fatten her up to about 50 grams but if she never makes it to that then she should be fine. I don't know if I would breed her if she couldn't hold the weight on though.

I just barely gave a calcium dusted cricket and she licked for like five minutes until the calcium was gone then ate the cricket!!!
