So I have a few females that I believe are all ovulating at the same time.
They havent eaten in about a month but are mantaining their weights.
Whats the average time span you guys notice your females go off food?
I know this is normal gecko stuff, I just need some reassurance.

Thanks.

Up to 4 months and lose >20% body weight...I do give them babyfood every 2-3 weeks to make sure they are doing ok.

Okay, so a month is nothing to be worried about then.
It is odd that they would be ovulating now no?

Through force feeding with a syringe? What kind of baby food?

No, not force feeding, just put a drop on their lips and wait for them to lick it off. I use chicken + squash baby food. If they aren't off food for too long and losing too much weight, you probably don't need the baby food.

My Geckos quit eating while ovulating. Once they lay their eggs, they chow down like pigs for a week or 2. But once the eggs start forming again they stop eating. I would not think it is ok for a gecko to go 4 months without food though..
