Hello Everyone,

So I purchased a female leopard gecko a little over 3 weeks ago. She is rustling around in her hide a lot all of a sudden. I heard a couple of barks/chirps. I think (not definite) heard digging on occasion. She was 20 grams on Feb 20. I gave her fattening foods when I first got her because she looked skinny. She eats mealworms and crickets now. 2 medium-large crickets and 4 mealworms (small-less than an inch) and maybe one extra mealworm if she seems hungry still. Which is always. Lol. So she is bigger than 20 grams now, but I don't have a scale to check her weight. I gave her some dry moss at the front of the tank (just in case she was trying to make a nest for eggs) and she didn't take it. I occasionally here squeaking on the glass. She might be making contact with it. Opinions and a quick reply would be great.

Thank you everyone.

If you look at her belly and see small pink circles, she's ovulating. Unless she's gained a huge amount of weight in the last 2 months, she's still probably a bit small to be ovulating but you never know. It's very unlikely that she'll lay eggs without a male though it's been known to happen. Your best bet is to just keep feeding her and not worry about it.
