wow, those are tiny little eggs, what do the parents look like?

I'll try to get some clearpics of the adults. It's kinda hard when they're only 3"!

First hatchling today--31 days at approximately 86-88*F. Not prepared for how small it would be...even smaller than the P. l. bombetokensis I hatched out last year...

Are they smaller than a pictus hatchling? Congrats btw ;-)

I haven't worked with P. pictus, but I'd guess because they are far larger as adults than P. androyensis, that the hatchlings would follow suit. The other hatchling arrived yesterday and both of them are a bit shorter than an inch and less than 1/4" wide. I actually had two more eggs that the female laid and managed to crush both of them, despite my being extra careful. They are a pleasure to work with and I hope to add a few more bloodlines soon. Luckily I have plenty of small prey around here to feed all these super-small geckos. Thanks Kelli for the kudos!

i can't wait to see my hatchking of andros ;)
what did you use? vermiculite or what? in ratio or not? and the level of humidity?

You have a group of these already? If you need the run-down on care, I can point you in the right direction via PM or just start a thread;) .

For these eggs, I cooked them at about 85-86*F. I have no "written-down" method for vermiculite-to-water ratio. Just hydrate the vermiculite (corse) thoroughly and squeeze out fistfuls of it and place it in a closed or lightly ventilated deli cup. The eggs are not to touch the substrate directly. I took a bottle cap, placed a bit of sand in there, and the eggs went in the cap. The cap nestles in the vermiculite in the deli cup and there you go. Anymore questions, just ask...
