Painting my gecko room

My gecko room could really use a new coat of paint, and I have a question. I don't think the paint will be very strong, it is water base paint. But do you think it will be safe to paint with the geckos in the room? Or do I have to move them? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Personally I would move them to another room for 48 hours. I know its not pleasant to breathe paint fumes and I can't imagine it could be good for them. Plus I would hate to drip paint on my racks or cages!

ya you really dont want a bunch of paint sniffin geckos, they just become bums and wont do any thing but eat and hang with there punk friends
