I was wondering what people do with their leos when they want to paint a room, or do renovations around the house. Im starting to get impatient with the house because my boyfriend is too busy to finish the main floor renos which includes drywall repairs, sanding and paint. I currently have all of my leos housed at my parents but I want to move them here and its not looking like things will get done for another couple of months plus my parents need them moved by november 9th.

How bad do you think it would be to move them to an upstairs bedroom with the door closed (renovations are on the main floor), or alternatively they could be put in the basement however there isnt really any light down there and we dont have alot of spare money to buy lights for the tanks... mostly ive just been using natural light for simulating night and day but they will not have this in the basement. What in your opinion would be the best course of action? Also will it have any effect on the feeders? (I feed mealworms and superworms). Thanks for the input!

I think either option would be fine. You can also get an air purifier to get those extra dust particles out of the air. There's a pretty good selection under $100 out there now. The only thing that might be a problem is heavy chemical based products like the lacquer used to refinish floors or paint strippers. Fumes from latex paint on a different floor shouldn't be an issue.

As far as light in the basement, you can leave a lamp or two with an energy saver bulb on during the day and that should be enough.
