pair of skin irritation issues, not sure of the cause.

Hi guys, new to the forums here. Having my first problems with my geckos in a few years. After bathing my geckos this evening, I realized that what I thought was just a bit of old shed turns out that it is actually a bit deep, and there is exposed flesh beneath the flap. I am not sure if this was due to a feeding argument resulting in a bite, or if it is some sort of infection/skin disease, but it does not look good.

The second issue is with the male of the group, he has a small sore or scab on his underside pores above the tail.

All of the geckos are eating and pooping regularly and consistently.
The main reason that I wanted to ask here before a veterinarian is because the last time I took a gecko to the vet (not many reptile friendly vets in this area) they charged my in excess of $200 to tell me to feed a dehydrated gecko some gatorade orally through a syringe. If this is something that can be fixed with a topicle treatment, saving a vet visit would do wonders.

the first one just looks like a bite wound, like you said probs from a feeding argument. can also be from the male if hes been trying to mate.
every time she sheds the scab will come off and it will look bad again but it will heal eventually. you could use some cotton woll and cleanse the wound with a warm salt solution if you wish to keep it clean.

The second one looks a little like a possible pore infection?
again salt solution to bath it to try and remove the stuff thats in the picture. but if it is an infection a vet trip might be in order. id remove him and isolate him for a while.

do you keep the male with the females all the time?

Yes they are all three together 1.2, and they didn't breed for the whole season this year, it probably ended late July and I havent seen eggs since.

Looks like fight wounds. I agree with sausage, and seperate them. Atleast the male from the two females

Thanks for the help guys and gals, going to work on a new enclosure but in the mean time, is there a specific ratio of warm water to salt that is best? Also are any specific types of salt necessary?
