Hi guys, new to the forums here. Having my first problems with my geckos in a few years. After bathing my geckos this evening, I realized that what I thought was just a bit of old shed turns out that it is actually a bit deep, and there is exposed flesh beneath the flap. I am not sure if this was due to a feeding argument resulting in a bite, or if it is some sort of infection/skin disease, but it does not look good.
The second issue is with the male of the group, he has a small sore or scab on his underside pores above the tail.
All of the geckos are eating and pooping regularly and consistently.
The main reason that I wanted to ask here before a veterinarian is because the last time I took a gecko to the vet (not many reptile friendly vets in this area) they charged my in excess of $200 to tell me to feed a dehydrated gecko some gatorade orally through a syringe. If this is something that can be fixed with a topicle treatment, saving a vet visit would do wonders.
