Not really sure where to put this. It's not *really* a morph question, but it's not showing off a gecko either - oh well, I'll let the mods decide that. 
For a while I've been thinking how much darker the Normal leos I see are than my own gecko. He's a Normal as well, but he seems a little ... washed-out. His tail's got nice clean white with bold black "eyespots" on the white bands, but the rest of his spots (well, blobs) are brown and the yellow's "muddy" in many places because of all the darker scales mixed in.
Here he is - this is with a flash, which messed up his face a bit, but it's pretty much his proper body color when he's in the light:
Is this most likely just normal color variation, or could it have something to do with his feeding/heating/etc.?
Sounds like a silly question, but you can never be too careful with your pets, right?
