pale skin

ive noticed my leos skin has gone quite pale, is this because he is shedding or it something i should be worried about?

i tried to look for info on shedding but couldnt find anything

he isnt eating as much an he is in his moist hide right now, so im guessing he's shedding, would i be right?

more than likely yes, keep an eye on him/her make sure all the shed gets off of him properly.

yup when i got mine her tail was pale from the shed...came off in 2 days (didnt shed right away cause she was scared)...make sure you have a MOIST moist hide.

yep ive got a box with wet paper towels in

how does the moist help them shed?

just does...i guess the water goes under the skin and helps lubricate it ... like cream ...
also if it doent come off in a couple days soak him in warm water for 10 minutes or so and gently rub it off.

yeah i will do that if he actually lets me pick him up, hes so scared of me

you just have to force him...its sad...but they will just take it for granted that he doesnt have to be held...and then he will never be handled....

im putting my hand in the viv for as long as i can, but with my viv being on top of a tall desk my arms get tired :\

hopefully he will soon crawl onto my hand

last night mine finally willingly came on and hopped all the way to my head...they feel so wierd.

haha nice, how do you get your out the viv? do they come to your hand?

ya...sometimes you have to put your hand in front of them and then scutch them into it with your other hand
