Panther Gecko

I recently was looking into purchasing a lizard because my dorm room gets lonely. I am used to having a dog around but because we cant have them i decided to shoot for a reptile. Anyone know anything about these little guys? I saw some pictures of them recently (Panther Geckos) and i really like the way they look. Nevertheless i was wondering if they are anything like leopard geckos? I was also wondering if anyone knows of any breeders that breed these guys? I would like to get one when he/she is relatively young. I have had a leopard gecko before so hopefully it wouldnt be too far of a stretch.

That's the sort of information i keep finding as I look around the internet. Looks like their care is similar to leos but their heat requirements are cooler.

70-85 is a very large temperature gradient. I just picked up my first pair of pictus and keep their warm side 90-92. Their cool side is in the mid 70s. They are almost always right on top of the heat tape so apparently they like it.
