Paradox Anyone???

So i have a pair of blizzards that are both paradox. Does anyone know the story behind the Paradox thing?

I think it's luck of the draw and I haven't found it to be passed on so far. I have a Mack snow male with a big black paradox spot and none of his offspring have inherited it. I did hatch one from him this season that had a paradox orange spot on her neck, but not the same color or location.
