The lavender blood line we have developed has been an ongoing project for many years now. We started with high contrast stripes that would hold lavender on their sides after breeding. After line breeding the geckos that kept the most lavender we finally started getting somewhere four years after the project started. Since then we have been line breeding the best looking animals and I believe we are in our 8th year of the project. The lavender does not seem to be influenced much by temp, one of our best lav stripes is a female and hatched out of a 80 degree incubator. We have hatched them out at 78 all the way up to 89. The high temp lavs are more likely to be high contrast though.
