For the most common parasites, there are no initial symptoms. Once the infection reaches a clinical level, there will be symptoms such as, loss of appetite, weight loss, and runny, unusually smelly, green or bloody stool. If you are concerned about a parasitic infection, take a stool sample to a vet for testing.

If you have only noticed one unusual stool, I wouldn't worry about it yet. Squinting the eyes after eating is not a sign of anything I can think of.

Can you tell us how long you've had the gecko, how it's housed, what substrate it's on, and what you are feeding it?

ive owned her for almost 8 months so she'll be 2 yrs old in 4 months. she is housed in a 10gal, for substrate i have never used anything beside repti carpet and paper towels. ive been feeding here lately usually 1 superworm and i keep feeding her crickets until she go's into the warm hide
