Me personally think yes.I think that pastel found it's way into mack snow breeding project. And that the pastel coloring came from the wild ancetser (Fasciolatus) i don't mean recently i mean back in the day when a leo was just a leo.Pastels (whiteish head, pastel body, whiteish tail) and pure (Fasciolatus) also (whiteish head, pastel body, whiteish tail),but would a pure (Fasciolatus) work in a dominant way if bred to a captive strain leo i'm not sure about as i haven't work with them.I know that SaSobek has bred (Fasciolatus) both pure and to captive strain leo and from the babys i've seen it does look to act the same as pastel (dominant).

Two Fasciolatus cross offsping one tan head and one white head.
