Still learning the whole genetics thing and im just wondering what i would get if i were to cross a murphey's patternless with a raptor. would they all come out regular with hets or would there be the possibility of getting patternless babys? and also if they created paternelss babies would they be het for anything. As i said at the start of the post im still learning my geneetics and am just looking for a few answers. Thanks

If it's a true RAPTOR meaning red eyed albino patternless tremper orange then you get normals triple het raptor and patternless het raptor

yes you CAN get embers if they both have proper hets.

Yeah I should have specified... sorry. I was saying that combining the 2 morphs would result in an ember.. but Dennis is right. They have to be at least het "the other" first. I have some "het embers" (mp x rap) that look pretty nice, but really just normals.

cheers.

I do not know the hets of the patternless (it was sold to me as a blizzard). But the RAPTOR is a true RAPTOR. I should be able to borrow a male RAPTOR from a friend soon and will most likely use him.

Yeah, if you don't know the hets, I wouldn't breed them. You'll just end up with a bunch of normals that are triple het.

You can always find a nice Tremper male HET eclipse too that will pair up with your RAPTOR. I would make sure first you have a basic understanding of genetics just so you know what you're working with. ;)
