Patternless Leo in question.....

I just picked up my second leo last night, from the LPS. She took some crickets and is pretty chill.
Im interested in trying my hand at breeding her with the male Ive had for about 5 years, but would like to hear what you guys have to say about what morph it may be (or at least an educated guess). She is about 5.5" snout to vent, has solid black eyes with a yellow body and 3/4 colorless tail. Here are some pics of the mystery girl;

We have a Mack Snow Patternless that looks exactly like that (very brown, but can turn very white) and for that reason, I would think there's a possibility that he's a Super Snow Patternless..? although if you had one of those, I guess you'd know it since they are worth a lot right now.

I was thinking blizzard because of the eyes....but in the second pic I can see what looks like faded patty markings on her back towards the tail.:main_robin: Never seen black eyes on a patty though...

That would be cool, but I wouldnt know as this gal was given to the LPS as a rescue, and Im a total Noob with morphs....:main_yes: I guess the next logical step would be to try and get offspring and see what comes out in them. Thanks for all the replies!

WOW! This one is tough to say w/ the solid black eyes! Are they both solid like that? The eyes make me want to say Blizzard b/c they known for werid eyes w/o breeding it into them, but the body looks more to me like a Patternless morph for sure. I see what Jess & David are saying as well b/c to have the full black eyes makes me think some where the along the way it was bred to have them like a Patternless Super Snow or Patternless w/ the Black eyes?? But we've never seen a Patternless w/ black eyes either. We also have a Patternless Mack Snow it does look very much alike. I don't think it's a Blizzard b/c I can see the patternless markings barely still on the gecko so it is some sort of Patternless. I'd breed it w/ something that shows the Patternless gene, lots of options here. I'd get a Mack Snow Patternless (w/ or w/o the Albino) or a Super Snow P.A. That way you'd also produce macks and all the gecko's would be het for albino for the next season that would be cool. Since the Patternless is recessive I'd for sure have it on both sides and use a co dom or dom morph to get a variety, this way you can see what's in her genes and produce some really cool offspring! Or you could 1st just stick w/ a Patternless gecko to find out for sure w/o complicating it anymore if your new to the morphs. Keep us updated on what you find out though when you breed her, I'd like to see her offspring, this is very interesting! You've got a unique gecko on your hands congrats! I'm glad that here are people out there helping these animals! She looks great.

I agree, I would try breeding it with another patternless or Mack Snow Patternless. Super Snow Patternless' go for about $1000 right now.

SS patty are Way less than that and Paul at brightalbinos hatched a solid eyed patty from non mack animals ;) Alot of odd eye mutations are popping up as we strive to make nicer animals geneticly.

Both eyes are solid black, looking from all angles under good light.
Looking into pics/threads more it looks more like a patternless, and maybe some blizzard in it.....or somehting snow...who knows...lol. I think I may try another patternless to see what happens. Here are some pics without flash to show the true colors a bit more.

The feet are white like the tail as is a small portion of the sides, pretty neat in person. These are the truest to "first person" color I could get.

Again thanks for the input.

It can be hard to tell the difference between a snow patty and just a patty, because many change colors depending on their mood. I have a patty that is yellow/pink all of the time, a mack snow patty that is pink all of the time, and another mack snow patty that ranges from very white (w/ yellow hues) to very brown, like yours.. I have seen many other Patties that tend to change colors as well.

Super Snow Patternless can range anywhere from white, yellow, and brown also.

I would say definitely get a Mack Snow Patty to breed with, and see if you get any Super Snow Patties.

New new B q's.....

K, Ive been reading ALOT since I got my new gal. Im now thinking she is a neat patternless, with blizzard in there due to the black eyes. Iv etried and tried and cannot get pics of her yellow, the best is the pic labled "without flash", even that one takes away from her color a bit. Any thoughts on a test subject to see what other traits she could be carrying? Ive already had some suggestions, but am ready to buy now. BTW, this forum rocks....:main_yes:

Edt/addon;
After a tipoff i found the leo wiki....AWESOME resource for quick reference. It looks strikingly similar to the muphy's patternless, almost identical but doesnt have as much orange on the tail (didnt even notice the orange until I looked at mine and the murphy sideby). If anyone has leads or links for a good suitor Ild be more than gratefull!!!!
