Hello, i always thought the thing looking like worms in my gecko poop were indeed worms parasites. So i gave them antiparasite.. But jas i discovered the inside of a dead cricket was full of that, i thought it may come from them..!

So what i did is i took a living cricket (sorry for him!) and opened it up. It was full of that indeed. Then after thinking for a while, i recall cricket lay eggs (i don't breed them..)!! So question is : are these eggs supposed to be non digested by (not all) geckos?

And in case a cricket is full of these, can i cause digestive issues to some geckos? Because the one that often have them is a quite stressed one type.. Other are never having them.

It happened that there were moving parasitic worm in some gecko poop (which were transparent in color), but this was quite long ago, and these geckos were living with two other adult AFAIR that haven't had that still.

The ones visual in the poop (by the naked eye) are pinworms from feeder insects.

Do you have a pic of what you're talking about? Later I can post a pic of both poop.

I do not, but if you do a search on pinworms, you should find some pretty easily. They are small, like a grain of rice. All other parasites I know of have to be seen with a microscope. There are different types of pinworms from what I understand. The kind from bugs are the ones that can be seen without a microscope. They come from insects (mostly crickets). The insect is their host and the gecko eats the cricket and the worms come out with the feces.
