I guess you could boil it or something but it's so cheap I would just get new. When baby geckos hatch some of the amniotic fluid from their eggs tends to leak into it and can cause mold growth on new eggs if you reuse it. The pain of cleaning it and the safety of my gecko eggs is worth the $6 for a new bag.

i know people who boil it, and then bake it in the oven till it is dry after use. im pretty sure that would kill most bacteria and such on it, but like DrCarrotTail said, its just six bucks for a new bag and peace of mind. but if you wanna try sterilizing it, go for it :)
