ok,i know i saw this somewhere.i searched but couldnt find the answer.the only perlite i have found has the fertilizer in it any idea where i could find it without?

Your local nursery or garden center. Lowes, Home Depot, Ace, True Value. just about anywhere that sells plants, if they don't have it they could probably order it. You could also probably order it online through reptile supply companies. The Miracle Grow stuff is debatable some say its O.K. some don't.

If you don't have to use the MiracleGrow perlite, don't use it. Find something that's completely free from any type of plant food or fertilizer. It will give you the best results.

We got ours from some organic garden supply company online. We got the perlite as well as some Coco Fiber for what i thought is pretty cheap i think like 2.49 per bag and 2.49 per brick.

Go to your local feed store if you have one near you I could only find the miracle grow stuff too till i went to the feed store they had a large supply of different sized bags of perlite and vermiculite. For way better prices too. Also Ive been told that tractor supply carries the huge bags of it too.

I went to lowes and got vermiculite, works good for me, it says it was 100% vermiculite w/ no additives.
