Pest control

So my house has a problem with Silverfish and my father is insisting we have an exterminator come in and spray the house with insecticides to control the problem. My problem is that I have geckos. Whilst I know that my geckos won't eat the silverfish I am afraid they will still get poisoned and die.

Has anyone dealt with this issue before? Should I remove my geckos from the house? will they be fine if i cover them?

I don't really know what to do.

How many geckos do you have?

My suggestion would be to remove them from the house entirely for a few days while they spray, and then make sure to let the house air out and then warm up again before bringing your geckos back in. (I'm assuming it's cold where you are right now, right?)

You Must Remove them

You Must Remove Them.

A Glass Tank can hold the fumes in a concentrated state and Leopard Geckos are sensitive to pesticides.

when we get our house sprayed(i have 6 leos) I take the 20g in da kitchen and put it in my room with the resto f the leos and bring the skink in his wire travel cage and they spend a few nights in my room, as mine doesn't get sprayed cuz of the animals and my mealies/beetles that I CAN'T get pesticieds on. just see if u can bring the leos into ur room or something and have that room not get sprayed ^__^
