They're pretty easy to store, they just kind of smell. I use my garage...
most pet stores around me charge about .10 per cricket for smalls, I'm not sure on larges..
For my juvi I was buying 50 at a time in a small cricket keeper that lasted about 4 days, so I was spending about 20-25/mo on crickets.. rediculous.
I bought 1000 from southern crickets for 18.00 shipped..
slapped them in a tub and kept calcium diet and water gel in there and that lasted me about 2 months.

You do lose quite a few, just general nature of the cricket storage I guess. Maybe my garage is too warm here in west texas..

just a thought..

I'm hoping to switch to dubais myself

Policy is no selling of rodents as live prey, they strictly sell frozen. Crickets do not fall under this policy. If you are told otherwise then ask to speak to the pet care manager...if still told they don't sell live crickets, ask for operations or store manager. If this still doesn't resolve, ask for district manager contact info. That's all I'll say on the matter without running the risk of getting in trouble. Same applies regarding the animals' appearance as a whole. We (they) have p&p in place and they need to be followed!
