When I went to the chain store by my house
I was able to hold a few of the baby leos
they were all "hyper" I guess I could say and were trying to run everywhere
they're noses and stuff all looked clear and they all had fat tails
I'm guessing it all depends on the workers at chain stores because those guys seemed pretty healthy

I personally wouldnt buy anything from the "P" store. I was in a local one a few years ago, and they were trying to feed crickets to corn snakes! I kid you not. Also, if you do buy one from a store, check out the gecko REALLY closely. I have seen what looked like very nice animals that I soon found to have missing toes, etc. I have had several geckos in the past from local stores, and none of them compare to the one I just got from an established breeder...I really think it was worth the shipping, etc.
