petco leo's (hets?)

does any one have any experience on breeding a petco gecko? if yes was it het for something the reason for my question with thousands of leo's sold at petco and petsmart how many are het for something?(pending they survive the great care they get:main_no: ) i bred my shtct to a patternless stripe this year very curious on what i well get

I've bred a grand total of 2. The first was Tremper albino and I didn't breed her to anything (like patternless or blizzard) that would reveal hets, but I got no surprises with the pairings I did. The second, who unfortunately died last year, was hypo tang and I bred him to the albino in the hope that he was het for albino. No luck. That doesn't mean that a Petco het for something isn't going to happen.

Any time you buy from a non breeder, you run the chance of having his traits(whether good or bad). I for one can give the genetics behind my geckos from my head, but wholesaler don't ship with a hatch certificate:main_laugh:

The one here in town has a Temper mixed with a few shtct and hi-Yellows. A few are tempting. I went there a few days ago and one of the Reptile specialist and I were talking. She asked me where I get my leopard geckos at so I gave her a list of 5-6 breeders around me. So I am thinking that Petco's own employees are not buying their own reptiles anymore. lol

I bred a male normal from Petco a couple of years back that proved to be het Tremper Albino.

I bred a Hybino to a Petco Hypo. The hypo turned out to be het Tremper which was very cool
