Phantoms

So apparently I have only found one main breeder that deals with the Phantom morph (being Urban Geckos). With this being said I have taken notice that at shows you never seem to see this morph. We have a male from them and are debating and are currently trying to locate a female for him. Before we do I wanted to see what people's opinion on this morph was. Seeing as it is never out there, is this just one of those dead morphs? Or is it just one of those cases where it's just hard to get.

Just debating on if it is a project we should look into pursuing or not.

They look like Snowglows and Creamsicles, except their snow is TUG line rather than Mack Snow. It's up to whether you like it or not. Personally it's not my taste.

I really have never seen anything special about their phantoms. The ones they sell seem to look nothing like the ones they have on the phantom page. They look nothing like a snowglow to me as they always have spots and bands or the only ones I have seen do. It may just be me but they aren't worth the extra money.

I like the phantoms and although they are the same genetically as a snowglow I dont think they look like snowglows. They are more pastel. Which is probably due to the TUG line of snow used in producing them.

I would love if there was a more lavander version available right now. As for price, our boy was fairly low grade at about 65 bucks. Looking at Urban Reptiles, they run about 125-ish. Which I guess isn't too bad.

I do like the pastel look to them opposed to the sunglows. (Don't get me wrong, I love eye-popping color.)

Maybe even if we didn't go and buy a female right away (seeing as it's getting colder out and they'd be shipping from Canada), anyone have any suggestions on what to breed this boy to? Here's some pics of Gryphon below, they're older only thing that has really changed is that he's filled out more.

Yeah, I thought for a second it was a typo and it was ment to be sunglow. I wickied snowglow to see what it was since I never heard of the morph to see what it was. I have a sunglow, but no snowglow.

No the task of finding out who has those or trying to create one.

Enigmatic geckos gets some from their creamsicle project.

Hm, looked on their site and nothing available right now. I may be on the hunter for one at the Hamburg show next weekend or working on a few generations to create one. Mack Snow to Sunglow (win we have both) the Macks het Albino babies back to each other with the 25% chance of a snowglow.

Stupid percentages. lol. I'll see what I can dig up. I don't have to do the project this year, but in the future would be nice.

Gecko Wiki for the win.

Yeah I was looking for some a while back and decided to get a pair that would start the process. We will get sunglows and snowglows next season. Our sunglow is almost ready so they should be our first eggs.

One of my Snowglows are from Travis. This is her:

I suggest breeding your Phantom to a Sunglow if you want the chance for some snowglows.
