Hi
I have bought two Phelsuma klemmeri from different owners. The one that should have been a female, but obviously is a male, has a very dull colouration. The colour is light blue (sky) WITHOUT any real glow/shine - unlike my other male. I suspect that the previous owner did not provide UVB and/or vitamins etc.
Do any of you have experience with the lack of shine despite proper UVB etc.?
It has been one week now and I can't see any changes. But 18 months of neglect might not be repaired in one week, or ever?
I don't know every Phelsuma so if you have experience with another species that regained shine feel free to share your experience
Sincerely,
Silas
