Well, I needed maggots for an illustration (long story
), and the gecko was almost out of food, so I figured phoenix worms were the best solution.
They just arrived today (very cold, whoops - hope they're all alive) and were very good about looking disgusting while I photographed them. :tongue3:
The gecko spit out about half of what I gave him, and WOW do they burrow in repti-carpet, but I should still be able to use up most of the tub before I have a bucket of flies.
Any advice on the little buggers? Ideally I'd like to keep most of them from dying off or disappearing into the carpet.
