I feed my one gecko all phoenix worms and he purged them. The others that i had feed to another one purged them. Does anyone have any idea whats going on? Is that normal to happen with phoenix worms? Or should I only feed very few phoenix worms to them?

If they eat too much of anything at one time, they tend to regurgitate. They generally tend to do this with new/novel food items. The best thing to do is only offer several at a time. ;)

I tried phoenix worms with my geckos and at first they all ate them because they were something new and different and I noticed when they were chewing they chewed weird and one even spit it out. I think phoenix worms taste gross or the substrate they are kept in taste bad. I only have 1 out of 4 geckos that will eat them.

Only my female would eat them, and as you say, it was because they where something new. Anyway, she quit eating them, and my male wont touch them.
I ended up feeding them to the birds (the worms I mean, not the leos!!) :main_laugh:
