Do any of you use these regularly? I know they do not need to be dusted, but do you still need to put the powder for the D3 content? How much do your geckos like these things?

Yeah I know all those need to be dusted, but phoenixworms have enough calcium and everything else to avoid dusting, I just didn't know if they needed the d3 vitamin

They would be fine with an occasional ducting of d3. Most people do not use phoenix worms because they are not the most efficient in the pockets.

i use them in my varied diet but be forwarned they are not cheap considering their size. they are very good for the leos but most will only eat a few, if any. theyre not the tastiest. you dont necessarily have to dust them but just as with ano other food, you should always leave a dish of calcium & vitamins in your leos enclosure. i use calcium +D3, but some ppl use plain calcium. bottom line, phoenix worms are a good feeder but the best diet os a mixed and varying one because each bug offers something nutritionally that the others dont. :)
