I finally got my photobucket account to cooperate, so here's the picture of the baby that has been displaying some very odd circling behavior. Still trying to figure out why.

were the parents purchased from someone that breeds enigmas?
i have a feeling that the syndrome is being introduced into the 'normal' leo population through improper culling practices.

Haven't thought of that before, but that could be the case haha
I've heard of many cases of people buying a gecko and not knowing its an enigma till after

Not all circling behavior is related to Enigmas. There are other medical conditions which cause animals to circle...such as vestibular disease. For this reason alone I believe that many neurological issues which may be present in "normal" animals all get written off as Enigma Syndrome when in fact there is a different issue at hand.

Certainly do not breed that gecko but if it is capable of living a "normal" life then dont cull it.

We aren't planning on culling her and she's only a month old, so breeding hasn't even been tip toed around with her even before we noticed this. (lol) In either case, i don't see that happening now. Other than the occasional spazz moment, she's doing fine. She's eating like a pig, getting around fine, shedding well, and she's friendly. So she's just gonna be my little baby, I suppose. (lol)
