These guys were being sold as WC babies at a local pet store....:main_rolleyes: The guy at the store swore up and down they are WC, I tried to rationalize with him but he was in front of customers...lol. I searched morps but coudlnt find one that looked like the second guy...? Any thoughts?

Thanks guys, yeah the first one is pretty bright. I can't wait to see what they look like as they mature. There all in QT now.
@ Bling; they are definatley CB, the guy just didn't know what he was talking about (or wanted to sell them as WC for some reason),and lets just say they were a good deal...= P.

Lets just be nice and say that shop owner doesn't know anything. I been to the shop in question before.

It wasnt Mike (the owner) they had a new helper. I like Mike, he's very old school...but im going to agree with you on the assesment. The guy was about my age (early 20's) and had some um.... interesting husbandry and background info.

Is it even possible to legally bring wild caught leos into the states?....

very cute little ones :) Though the condition of the patty I find very worrisome...the fat abdomen but very skinny tail suggest a possibility of impaction or parasites. Is it possible that the owner could be trying to sell them as 'wild caught' b/c he knows they have parasites and has chosen to do nothing about it?....since wild caught animals generally have parasites that need to be treated.... Sounds like a far-fetched hypothesis...but you never know with people......

Its droppings look good, not runny. I got worried from your assesment till it pooped. It is definatley not WC, the guy at the petstore was just saying that as that is what the pricelist said...lol. I tried to explain that the possibility was basically nill of them being so. I dont think he has enough understanding of herps to id parasite symptoms (no offense intended).

normal droppings don't necessarily imply a lack of parasites...I would have fecals done on them.

As far as the petstore guy not being able to recognize symptoms...it doesn't mean he there's no way he'd know they had parasites....if they'd come from someone who'd had them seen by a vet...or if they'd had them to a vet at all...its possible he could know. like I said...that's a far-fetched hypothesis...but you really never know with people. btw I wasn't saying that they could be wild-caught...but that if he knows wild-caught animals nearly always have parasites that need to be treated he could be passing them off as such so that once a new owner discovers they have parasites he could just say something along the lines of "well they're wild caught...you have to expect that."
