I think I know the answer but want to make sure. I am looking at 3 differant thermostats: ZooMed 500R, Herpstat Proportional Thermostat and Helix DBS1000 Proportional Therm. It is going to be controling the temp on the flexwatt for my rack I am making. The rack is made from an old dresser. Which one should I choose? Thanks for your advice :)

Thanks Kyle and Eric. I had someone try to talk me into the ZooMed but I wanted to do some research on it first. I am ordering everything from Bean Farm so I was leaning toward the Herpstat and Helix.

Gotta go Helix DBS-1000 on this one John! Great product, easy to program. It fluctuates, well almost never!

Both the Helix and Herpstat work great so it basically comes down to personal preference. I currently have a few herpstats and this summer I will be switching my racks over to the pro model.

I have the Helix running both my racks and incubators and am very pleased with the results. :main_thumbsup:

Thanks Debbie. I know what a few others are using ( alot use Helix and Johnson or is it Johnston)so I am going to go with my gut and get the Helix. With only about $25.00-30.00 difference I am going to follow my instinct and get my 1st choice. I might try the herpstat next time or if I really love the Helix like I think I will probly get another Helix lol.

Thanks everyone for all your input. I really appreciate it.
