Picking up this breeding pair, worth it? Name this morph?

Hey all. So I was recently offered a very enticing deal on proven breeders. I'm new to LG's but they've always fascinated me. Could anyone give me any indication of the morph name if these two qualify? I'm pretty sure they're just standard but I could be wrong. It's much appreciated. Being new, even if these two turn out to be the most basic LG's the fact that I would get first hand experience raising/breeding them will definitely be exciting.

Also, I am not a novice at keeping reptiles...I have experience keeping MHD's and chameleons, as well as inverts which I can say are easily just as hard to maintain. So, what do you guys think?

It's a little hard to tell since one is in shed. They both look like hypo tangerines, i.e. they are somewhat orange colored and they have fewer spots than a "normal" leopard gecko but spotting nonetheless. Unless the female is already gravid or still ovulating, you may be more successful breeding them next season, since for many of us the season is ending shortly. I'd recommend also reading the breeding section of the forums here and googling "leopard gecko breeding" to get more info.

Definitely going to. I just got a really good deal for these two and decided to take the dive since I'm crawling with roaches so I don't have to worry about feeders. Are hypo tangerines rarer than normal LG's? I tried researching morphs but it's a lot more intricate than I guessed :D

They look small, do you know their weights? Were they bred this year?

I do not currently have any weight info or anything. I was offered these two with their full enclosure for $50 so I'm going to take it. Should give me some experience with them at the least.

I don't see how those can be "proven breeders" at that size...fatten up and maybe try next season. There are lots of hypo tangs out there, too.

Indeed, I'm thinking the same now. I mean, for both of them and their cage with all of the accessories it's only $50 but still.

I'd say they're a good pair if you want to pick up some leos and learn basic husbandry, they look like great pets. Also, I would get separate enclosure for them until they're older, if you don't want to risk the health of the female. Good luck.
