So this is my recently aquired 2yr old male, what I got out of the owners who diddn't really know much, is that he is a Mack Snow Patternless Albino, does that sound right? I know there is no way of knowing exactly what kind of patternless albino unless I breed him, so if I were to breed him to a high-yellow female, possibly het. for hypo tangerine or a SHTCT what are the odds of him producing what color? Also, his left eye has black in it that dosen;t go away, is that eclipse? Thanks in advance.

He looks like a Mack Patternless Albino. When bred to a high yellow or SHTCT you should get about 50% mack snows, and 50% normals, all het for patternless and albino. There is no such thing as "het for hypo tangerine", so that will never come into play.

Oh ok awesome! I would love a couple of mack snows, the normal high yellow has a ton of contrast, it would look awesome in black and white :) ... that can happen right? Sorry, theres just so many terms, I really am good at genetics, but only when put into scientific terms, none of this made up names thing LOL very complicated!

Only if i remembered how to use that punnet square from seventh grade...

I loved Punnet squares. Still remember how to do them! At some point I'll draw one up for several different possible breeding combinations.

I really want to take some sort of...class on genetics.
