I found this online and want to make this type of habitat for my 20 long tank. what do ya'll think? i'd probably use tile on the bottom though...i'm not sure about sand...any advice and suggestions. I just want something nice looking, functional, and for most importance healthy for my geckos.

thats some nice tank. Hm you can get slate or also you can get a t-rex 3-d background for a 20 gallon they can climb on it other then the tank i think its to high. Leopard geckos dont usally climb unless they are searching for food and will accustom from you feeding it.

Not only that, but if that is real rock it is going to be heavy as crap, but I am wondering if maybe they used the foam underneath the aquarium and painted it to the colors of rock??

didnt he say it was sand?

Well, nice looking, but mine won't climb for any reason. Just on the floor and in his hides. My guess would be alot of the upper rock areas would not be used.
