pink tail??

Ok, I tried to search the forum on this but couldn't find anything. Both my leso went through shed over the last two days. One is still trying to get rid of the remains (with some gentle help here and there) but the other shed really well.

The weird thing is that when I checked on him, his tail and also his feet and snout seemed to be quite pink (what usually would be whiter) Is this a blood circulation thing or am I going crazy?

I might try and take pictures tomorrow if it's still the case, night light is on now...

no its the completely shedded one. I once saw the pink that happens when the blood circulation gets cut off through shed (intervened to cure that) but this is just a pink glow that makes him look like he is going to glow. I'll put up a picture that I took earlier tonight...

So, this is pretty much what it looks like. His tail has some shadow over it so it looks darker than it actually is, but the way his snout is, is what I mean...I don't know if it makes sense at all

I might be completely off base here, but it really just looks like skin irritation from the shed... kind of like if he pulled it off before is was ready and it irritated the new layer of skin.

interesting Stomlin! I didn't see him shed this time, whereas my girl always needs help. I'll see if it changes over the next couple of days. It doesn't seem rashy or anything, but we'll keep a close eye :robin:
