Pink underside when basking?

My leo has been basking a lot lately as she is slowing down for winter so she has been lazy. One thing that confuses me is her entire underside(Including neck, which isn't always touching the heated area) turns pink, but only while she is basking. When I take her out she turns normal white on her underside. She is not burned and the temps are only 95-96f.
What is making her do this?
I know it's not a major heath concern, but it just has me curious.

It happens sometimes. Just keep an eye on it to make sure there's no blistering which would obviously be a sign of being burned. Also, make sure you're taking the floor temp inside the hide if that's where she is to be sure it's not over 95 in there. I once had a gecko get a burned tail because although the floor temp was 92 outside the hide, it was 106 inside.

First of all, we must keep in mind that leopard geckos are nocturnal, and therefore do not bask. Their skin and eyes are not adapted to overhead light and heat like iguanas and bearded dragons. High ambient air temperatures will help but are unnecessary, but belly heat is what governs their digestive system, metabolism, and immune system.

There is more than one definition to the word bask. One is to relax in pleasant warmth or atmosphere. So if you meant over the heat mat chances are it's too hot on the floor.

Her hot hide is very open, so no hot air is getting trapped in there. And yes I mean basking on her UTH.

Heat increases blood flow, which will be visable thru their skin, blood vessles and cells will be more evident and skin can apper a different color ie pink. The fact it changes back after the leo is removed from the heat source I feel kind of confirms that. Also some herps bellies appear pink prior to sheddng. I know our ball python's does.

This makes much more sense to me, if she was burning there would be blisters and she would not be continually lying down there. It would also not go back to normal. It would need to be closer to 110f to burn any ways.
