Should only really be fed to females to fatten up after laying eggs.

Use common sence. Other then that there is no real NEED to feed them to your leo.

+1. Pinkies are mostly fat. Leopard geckos are insectivores, stick to insects.

Not only that, but some leos won't accept the pinkies. I felt pretty bad when I had a pinky die without being eaten (this was before I had ball pythons). I don't like unnecessary, wasted deaths.
