I have only fed a pinkie to one of my geckos. The only reson I did feed it was because he was severly under wieght (45Grams at 3 years of age) the previous owner was feeding him once a week. So I fed A pinkie for wieght issues.
I wouldn't feed it to any of my other geckos though the bones are hard to digest.

Yeah....I agree with Michael, and I wouldn't feed pinkies to a perfectly healthy or chunky gecko its just uneccessary.

I have no problems feeding pinkies to any of my adults. In fact they eat it along with 2 or 3 supers sometimes. I deal with CB so I can assure you that to call my oldest strictly an insectivore would be 100% false as he has eaten a pinkine once every 2-3 weeks for almost 5 years now. He is of normal genetics however he happens to be the most tame and social gecko I have. To say leos should or shouldn't do something because of "word of mouth" is naive. I've learned a lot(genetics, morphs, breeding) since joining these forums, but one thing I absolutely can't tolerate is when people offer insight with 100% oppinion rather than fact.

To clarify my post I am responding only to give the 'other side':

4+ years of regular pinkie feeding over 3 leos gives me the allowance to state that it is absolutely perfect to feed a pinkie as part of their normal diet. It does not have to be a treat and I also hate the phrase "staple diet" as to me I have fed more of a variety diet and mine have managed quite well over the years.

Maybe a simple "Do you feed your leo pinkies?" poll with yes or no options would be better suited.
I can sympathize with the diet issues, as everyone has their own opinion, not just wih geckos, but any other pet as well.
It's better to just state your experiences and let others decide how they recieve/use that information.
Regarding the diet and pinkies:
In theory, when most animals are born their bone strength is almost nothing, and are soft and malleable. I would think that the bones wouldn't be so harmful to the gecko...
Nutrition is another thing. A pinkie may provide the right nutrients, but maybe in the wrong quantities. Sure, they have protein, but fat as well. It sounds kind of like a catch 22.

What do I know though?

Pinkies. Are. Ok. End of story. Go buy your leo a pinkie and let it have a ball, if it doesn't like them, oh well, if it does, every couple weeks get it one unless it gets too chunky to move.
