can you get pinkies at a local petsmart or other big petstore? my AFT wouldnt eat for quite a while after i switched my job position/schedule, and because my schedule changed his care schedule had to change too, and he wasnt adjusting to it very well and wouldnt eat anything for a better part of two weeks, he has been eating good the last two days now, alot more active again, but his tail is still rather skinny and i'd like to fatten that tail back to normal, now that he is eating again. im guessing a pinkie and a few waxworms mixed with his normal diet of mealies and crix should do that job of building those fat reserves in his tail back up. i will also take other suggestions or advice on fattening his tail back up a bit.

You can get them at Petco by me, but I overhead them saying it is hit or miss if they will have them. There is a smaller pet store by my house that always have anything in stock.

im just gonna get one or two untill he fattens back up. i was getting worried for a while, b/c that tail was getting really skinny, but just when i thought its time to take him to the vet, he came through and is now eating/acting normally again. his tail is starting to plump a bit, but its nowhere near where it should be so im gonna start adding some fat into his diet. i'll go to petsmart tomorrow and see if they got some, if not there is quite a few other petstores around my area so i should be able to get them. might even look for something to fill my 10 gallon with, now that my cashflow increased:)

PetsMart carries the Mice on Ice (in CO, MD and KS, anyway) but IMO they're comparatively expensive.
I agree, rip off. Petco carries them, any pet store that sells snakes should have them.
