My tang albino het raptor jaws has a pinkish belly with his tail being really pink. I have heard that this can be a sign of shedding in snakes but never heard anything like this in geckos. It has happened before also. Like i think it was 2-3 weeks ago his belly and tail turned pinkish. So is that what it was. Last time it went away with the shed so i thought that must be what it is. So i am really curious what it is.
He is kept in a 28 qt tub with heat rope and 3 hides. one on the cool end one, one on in the middle and one on the hot which is his humid hide. His temp is 92-95 on the hotside. He is kept on paper towel. And has a bowl of calcium and a water bowl. I dont know if this has anything to do with it but he is a tremper albino.

i've noticed my two little leos having "pink" color on their tail and belly too. but i never thought much of it. One is a raptor, the other is a tang. I would like to see ppls responses to this.

My gecko's tail sometimes has a 'pinkish tint'. Not sure why. He only has this tint sometimes.

Are you absolutely positive that "he" is not a "she". When Females ovulate you can see bright pink spots (follicles) in their bellies that eventually turn into white eggs surrounded by a pink area. If you could get someone to help you take a picture of what you're talking about we might have a better idea of what's going on.

Dead positive you can see his bulges and you can see his pores. It looks like he is about to shed and i didnt know if that could have anything to do with it.

but i am dead sure he is a male.
