So I recently purchased 2 awesome plastics cages. I really like them but... I noticed that the poop of my baby Leo's make it smell terrible when I open up the glass. Anybody else have this issue and/or have any advice?

Ill post a pic of the 2 black cages along with pics of the cute lil guys

Boaphiles? I think it's because you don't have a screened lid to let the smell vent well. I actually made "litter boxes" in my enclosures and it definitely seems to help. I just used plastic casing from a package and made a 1/2" high dish with sand in it. I moved all there poop for 2 weeks into that litter box. Now they go in the litter box only and like I said, it seems to help with smell. Are there any places in the enclosures that you could vent more?

Really like those enclosures though and I would be interested in knowing what brand they are. Very nice. I want to stack so bad lol

If the paper towel is wet where they are going to the bathroom it can produce ammonia gas which in large quantities can be harmful. If they use the bathroom in the same place all the time just ensure that this area stays dry or provide more ventilation if possible.

I got them from riverbend reptiles in Indiana . Pretty nice cages. Ill look into making litter boxes or maybe making extra vents.

Also off topic from this topic. I'm getting around 85 ish on tiles in those enclosures with a uth. The plastic is sorta thick so I may try it this weekend with no tiles

My thoughts also. Be sure to use playsand and not calcisand that the pet stores sell. Calcium sand can form a blockages in leopard geckos.

With additional ventilation and the litter box your problems will go away. I would also suggest getting your hot spot up to 92-95 if you can. Good Luck!
