Do you think it'll work ok as cage lining? - its just a thin sheet of soft plastic. I might cut out a piece and test it on an empty tank first. If it is giving off any sort of smell, then it is no good to use, right?

Two things:

If it has adhesive, then it'll definitely give off fumes
If it's slick, it'll be hard for them to walk on

Otherwise, you're good to go :D

They have a "foam rubber version of shelf liner too and it works great. It's easy to clean with a little leo on the shoulder too.

No adhesive, and it has bumps on it. It seems very durable and easy to clean to me. As long as plastic + UTH can work together, then I might change all my cage carpets to this stuff.
