My female leopard gecko just layed two eggs; however, they are stuck together and to the bottom of the lay box I am using. The box can fit into the incubator I made so they are in the incubaor, inside the laybox keeping warm.. What do I do? Are they goners?

I think if you just leave them in the position they are in and maybe reduce the lay medium so they aren't totally covered, you should be okay. If you must add water, mist AWAY from the eggs onto the medium.

The worst you can do is try until they go bad...they might not.
Best of luck, let us know how it goes.

What I have done in the past is drip water where the eggs are stuck- in between them and where they touch the plastic. The water softens the eggs and allows you to pull them apart. I have done this with over 10 clutches of eggs and have never had any rip. Just make sure you don't pull too hard and rip the egg. That's what I usually do, but I wouldn't want you to lose those eggs.

Yeah, this is my very first clutch ever. I am just a little scared, I don't want them to, well you know.. lol. I just want to do everything I can until I know for sure that they are gone. Maybe I will try the water thing.

Thanks.

Ok I got the eggs apart fine, as well as off of the laybox. Just a waiting game now :p
