Please Help!

I just had a egg hatch (appears to be SS enigma)

And on her lower stomach there is a large bump! It looks like it is her stomach parts

Can anybody help? What can I do?

It looks actually like a tumor...it isn't coming from her actual pelvic. Like a growth

Sounds like the yolk sac. There was another thread about it a day or two ago and the consensus seemed to be that it will likely be absorbed and cause no long term problems, just keep the baby warm and humid.

Oh my gosh you have no idea how much I am thankful for that answer. I am about to bawl my eyes out (Sensitivity is bad for a breeder, I know!)

I have never seen anything like this, nor heard of it! I will look at the other thread too.

She is really active and aware, so I will take that as a good sign!

I had the same thing and it did finaly dry up and fall off. I put a thread up titled " Is this Normal" you can check out the pic. and see if that's what it looks like. Good luck

We had the same situation too..she hatched a day after her sister whom didn't have the egg yolk on. Wierd!
