Ok, so my leo is about 3-4 inches from end of nose to end of tail. His stomach has started turning a greyish color and his head is getting dark. He is NOT throwing up, he eats 3-4 crickets, also has a small bowl of mealworms at all times, I only use spring water for his water AND to mist his moist hide. He is active and alert. Temps are 92-85 on hot side 82-85 on cool. And he also has 4 hides. One of which is a moist one on the hot side. Substrate is paper towels. Here are some pics of him and his poo. His poo looks fine to me.. Solid logs with a nice, white urate. Is he just getting ready to shed maybe? Does he look healthy? He HAS gained quite a bit of weight in the week or so that I've had him. Here's the pics, do he and his poops look ok?

Oh yea. And I gutload the crickets and mealworms with Fluker's high calcium diet and the gel water cubes. they are dusted with Rephashy Superfoods Calcium plus for Leopard Geckos at every feeding.

I believe that the changes you are seeing are just the normal changes as hatchlings/juveniles grow. Yours looks to be a blizzard and may get even darker. I have one that was very light when I got her and now she is dark grey, almost black! One husbandry tip, the warm side of the tank should likely be in the 90-95 range. 85 is a bit too cool and may affect the gecko's ability to digest his food properly.

Nooo.. My temps are 82-85 on the COOL side.. The warm side is always 92-95. I check the temps and humidity AT LEAST once a day with an accu-rite digital thermometer.
EDIT: I looked at it and realized the way I worded it made it sound like it was 82-85 on the hot side. SORRY! lol

Oh ok.. He IS getting darker and I was like.. OMG! But he still does his normal routine. Sleeps in his middle hide during the day. comes out at night for his dinner of 3 dusted and gutloaded crickets. Then goes and lays on his stomach under his rock on the hot side, goes and takes a poo or two on top of his moist hide, then in the morning if he wants it, he eats another cricket, then goes to bed. lol. I just offer him the crickets with tweezers and he eats from the tweezers. I offer the crickets until he turns away from them.
